1) How do interpersonal and employability skills effect your everyday life and your future? 

Interpersonal skills are basic life skills including sociableness that we use everyday and will always continue to use.  Employability skills show our eligibility for a job which includes more knowledge and talent.  


2) What is graphic design and why is it important to communicate visually?


Google defines "graphic design" as the art or skill of combining text and pictures in advertisements, magazines, or books.  It is important to communicate visually because it shows a whole new perspective to things.  


3) Why is it important to identify safety issues and to safely operate equipment utilized in the classroom?


It is important because it keeps the equipment utilized in the classroom is good condition while keeping ourselves safe. 

4) What are the elements of design and how are they incorporated into a design? 

The elements of design are line, shape, direction, size, texture, color, and value.  They are incorporated into a design by adding design and originality in it.


5) What is a vector-based design and how is it created? 


Vector-based design is a design based on geometrical elements that are created by a math formula. 


6) How is color used effectively in graphic design?


Color is used effectively in graphic design by adding dimension, emphasis, definition, repetition, contrast, balance, and many more things. 


7) What is a raster-based image and how is it created? 


Raster images are images created by a set grid of dots pixels used to define the image where each pixel is assigned a color value.


8) How does the manipulation of size and resolution effect digital images?


It can create a very poor quality image when the pixels are manipulated to change the look of an image.


9) What is the function of the type within a design? 


It contributes to the theme of the design.

10) How do designers use a page layout program?


They use it by dividing designs into portions in a page the combining all the elements to create one. 

11) What steps does a designer take to design a page layout from concept to final product?


First step is sketching out ideas.  Second is applying it and cleaning up the sketches.  

12) What are the key developments in the history of visual communications? How did these developments shape our industry?

Hieroglyphics evolved into numbers and letters.  It was spread worldwide through printing presses.  It shaped out industry by gradually modernizing everything. 

13) What careers are available within the field of graphic design? What profession are associated with the industry? 


In the field of graph design, there are careers like advertisement, freelance work, or working for private design companies.  All of these things are high in demand and can be very lucrative. 

14) Would i want to become an Illustrator or Graphic Designer? Explain.

Right now, I don't really have a preference because I am still exploring new things for each one.
